Working with the Building Control Officer, Fire Officer and Fire Consultants, ECE will design and develop the fire strategy for the safe building construction and refurbishment. Following the disaster at Grenfel Tower, a particularly high standard of fire safety rigor has developed within the industry which we implore. For far too long the industry has not paid enough attention to the detailing of the fire strategy and compartmentation of the building design. We are highly experienced in dealing with all parties to ensure the fire strategy, compartment and detailing on site has been correctly and appropriately addressed. We always urge developers to introduce a sprinkler protection installation, this costs about the same as a good quality carpet and has major life safety improvement consequences.
