Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor – Renal Unit Phase 1 & 2
This project comprised the detailed design and construction of a new renal services facility within Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital Bangor. The project was carried out in 2 phases, so the services were designed to allow phase 1 to be commissioned and put in service whilst Phase 2 was under construction.
New plant room installation with NHS compliant ventilation air handling units located internally at roof level to provide heating and cooling. New water services, RO Dialysis sterilised water systems, heating, ventilation, cooling, drainage and BMS controls were designed and installed within the facility. The electrical services were totally renewed within the facility, including both essential and non-essential services to the various items of critical equipment, LV distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, clean earthing systems, fire alarm installation, nurse call systems etc.
