Altrincham Grammar School for Boys

This project comprises the construction of a new build teaching block connecting to the existing building, and included 12 new classrooms with new library facilities over 2 floors. There were new utilities brought across the site.

Each classroom had new dedicated ventilation units installed with CO2 detection in accordance with BB101 to ensure the classrooms were properly ventilated and comfortable conditions achieved. The heating was delivered via radiant panels to all areas. Lighting, power, fire alarm installations were provided to all areas. The classrooms had smart teaching facilities and IT systems were extended to each area to allow fully integrated on line and digital learning throughout .

Security and CCTV systems were also provided to all areas to provide a state of the art teaching and learning facilities.
